Oldham’s ‘A’ Team quits too
In the week that saw them lose their coach just five months into a new contract, Oldham have announced that they are disbanding their ‘A’ team. They have described the running of a second string side “...a wasted exercise”.
In a competition that started with six clubs, this leaves just Hornets and Batley with reserve grade sides.
This obviously draws into question the future of reserve grade football in the UK and we’ll post further information as soon as we have it.
