Ray misses out
Hornets chairman has to watch the 'merged midgets' instead. It's not all fun and free test match tickets when you're president of the RFL. Hornets chairman Ray Taylor was a
notable absentee from Sunday's fantastic win at Doncaster. In his capacity
of Rugby Football League President, he was called upon to present the NFP
minor premiership trophy to the Shuddersfield Midgets at the McAlpine stadium.
We're sure that a 42-4 stroll against Dewsbury was hardly compensation
for missing Hornets bag third spot in what was probably the game of the
season. Let's hope he told Tony Smith where he could put the trophy.
