Gary Schofield's Diary
Just found this snippet in Garry Schofield's Season's Diary 1992-3. Leeds v Hornets 14/2/93, "I got embroiled with their centre, Matt Calland, who had already had a couple of shots at our players before he went at James Lowes for no reason. I reminded him that if he wanted to have a go at anyone then he should pick on someone his own size, like me for instance, or take the ball in and see how he liked it, but it was all something or nothing. With my experience I should have known better...." There you go, the joint Hornets' player of the season could certainly mix it with the best and I never realised Garry Schofield was that big?
