We had seven teams battle it out and the quiz was won by the team comprising our mates from Swinton plus Clive from Hornets.

Thanks too for everyone's generosity during the auction - we did have some great items and they all fetched good prices. Aaron Sawyer's jersey from the last game at the Athletic grounds went under the hammer for £100 - a fitting price for such an emotive piece of Hornets history.

Having done the sums from last night, with the quiz takings, the raffle, the auction and several members paying their 'sponsor a try' money - the total raised on the night was a staggering £538!

With some money still to come, we expect to break the £600 barier - a magnificent effort that underlines the dedication and commitment of Hornets supporters.
