It's reported in today's League Weekly that Bobbie Goulding's thinking of inviting ex-Hornets favourite Neil 'Flash' Flanagan back into the fold as part of his coaching team.
Despite ongoing problems with his dicky ankle, Bobby Goulding is keen to play - and if he takes to the field he needs a trustworthy right-hand man to be his strategic eyes and ears on the touchline.
The Bobster's quoted as saying: " At the moment I think I can do more for the team out on the pitch as player/coach. I have Darren Shaw as my assistant & Club Captain and Paul Anderson who's been outstanding since he arrived - if all three of us play, I will need someone else off the field who can make decisions similar to the ones I'd make,"
"I'm looking to appoint someone and I believe that Neil Flanagan could fill the bill. He has been at Rochdale before in his career and I'll be havng a chat with him."
