Darren Abram had seen the player in action against London and in a number of Senior Academy games, and was quick to move.

"From what I've seen of him in those games, he's a Mick Cassidy type of forward,"' Abram said "He is a back-rower, but can slot in anywhere. He could have a stint at nine if we needed him to, and is tough enough to handle the situation at prop. "He runs nice lines out wide, and from the reports I've had back, he is very enthusiastic, has a good work ethic and wants to learn."
