Commercial Update
We sold shirt number 15 to Geoff and Marlene Harrison – meaning that we now have 18 squad numbers sponsored. As always many thanks to all those people who have sponsored a squad number.
We also sold 2 more Associate Match Day Packages meaning that we only have 4 packages left to have achieved the goal of all matches having four sponsors.
The matches left promise to be real thrillers and are against Widnes, Batley, Dewsbury and Whitehaven.
Anyone wishing to be involved should again call the club.

Hornets Quiz Night
A big, big thank you to Steve Butterworth, Landlord of the Red Lion, Whitworth who did a fantastic job hosting our quiz night. Steve as well as MC-ing the event he provided all the questions, pens, paper etc. and fed the all quizzers free of charge. The quiz itself was won by the "Know Nothings", captained by Craig Nagy just pipping our guests from down the road, Spellys "Swinton cheaters!" A fantastic turn out by Hornets fans had the pub full to the rafters, a superb fun event and one we must do again. He also donated a meal for a family of four as a raffle prize. All in all a great night

Community Development Update
We are coming to the end of our first five-week intensive coaching course. We have been granted the opportunity to host a Junior Festival here at Spotland Stadium on the 20th May, which is a first, before our game against Doncaster Lakers. Thanks are due to the Stadium and Hornets Board of Directors for their support in making this happen.
The Royal Navy Tournament due to take place on the 11th July is now taking shape nicely with 29 of the target 32 schools signed up.
Finally we are proposing an off stadium training day for children of all ages on Sunday morning 15th April.
More details on this, and the Royal Navy tournament will follow in future weeks.
