Observer apologises
Richard Partington of the Rochdale Observer had this to say "In Wednesday’s Observer, in the story headlined ‘Hornets consider ground share sale’, we stated that the Nest-Egg, the club’s independent fundraising association, had been briefed on the proposal to sell off shares in the stadium. This was incorrect. While NestEgg members had held discussions among themselves as to possible proposals, they were at no time officially briefed by the club. We apologise for the mistake and any inconvenience caused"
