As it is the holiday season then the site fancied a week off. The Dalai will be keeping an eye on the messageboard and
updating it with any latest news.
To get everyone in the holiday spirit here's a picture of ex Hornets colt Mark Turner (on the left) and a mate (also from Rochdale) who now lives in Western Australia. It was Christmas at the time.
Mark says a big hello from Oz and has this message to pass on
I played for the Hornets Juniors starting with the U15s through to the colts from around 1980 to 1985. The guys in the team then that I can remember were
Steven Sutcliffe, Mark Renolds, Jimmy Stringer, Mark Cockcroft, Ian Taylor, Darren Brown, Stu Brown, Phil Cockane, well thats a few of them, I'm sure there's more.
