The Reds were 54-12 winners against Rochdale earlier in the competition and McRae will welcome back Malcolm Alker and Philip Leuluai for Friday's fixture.

Hornets' coach Bobbie Goulding has been dealt a severe blow to his preparations after scans confirmed that Paul Alcock suffered a broken jaw during last week's Carnegie Challenge Cup victory over York Acorn.

Alcock is facing a six-week spell on the sidelines. Goulding said: "Paul has seen a specialist and has broken his jaw. He's been one of our better players so far this season so it's a blow."

Goulding could include John Cookson and Dave Cunliffe in his squad.
